Hello pattern / sewing lovers. My name is Sheila Savell and along with my husband Harry we are Out of the Ashes Collectibles. I'm so lucky to be able to turn a love of clothes and fashion into a business. We work out of our home in Yuma, Arizona. What started out as a 3 bedroom home now features one bedroom, one office and a room filled floor to ceiling with patterns! And we love it.
We've been married for 32 years and are very active outdoors whether boating and fishing or riding in our Arctic Cat Prowler. We have a 5th Wheel Toybox and we often go camping alone or with friends and on those long weekends watch out for the sale! We try to get away at least once a month.
Here are some of my favorite family and pet photographs. Mostly for the enjoyment of our family who will get a kick out of being on the internet!

My Grandfather Richard Warren Strong who died November 3, 1918 just before the end of WW1 in France. He was killed 6 weeks before my mother was born and she never knew him. He is buried at the Meuse Argonne Cematary in France.

RIP Angus you are so missed! My favorite Niece "Angustina Lou" who was named after Angus Young of AC/DC.

This is Olive that we got from the local Humane Society along with her "brother" Tobey in January 2013. She is 5 1/2 years old and is a Russian Blue. Some lady gave her up because her husband hates cats. Hmmm - I would have gotten rid of the husband first. Ollie is just so mellow and sweet! |

Our new boy kitty named Tobey. We got him in late January and he was 8 months old. He is a Flame Point. A total love bug but so filled with energy he wears me out. |
